| ¤ Zero Hour Price | The memory of all his amazing achievements - in his opinion. Meaning more or less: Everything he's ever done that he was actually proud of. Be it success or actually utter failure (After all. Some would say eliminating a good amount of your own race would be a failure, while others see it as great achievement for resons best left unknown...)
At least he remembers the failures he sees as such himself ;)
Actually I skipped the Zero Hour post 'cause I just didn't know how to pull it up. It was already hard enough to think of a price for him. Now the whole Zero Hour... Well. Zim would have never given up anything willingly. Later I read that the spirits could even take the price by force, so I think that might be how it would've been for Zim. At least that would be a reasonable explanation for the self-centered Irken to give up his pride and setting up on a path that would lead to sheer insanity sooner or later...
For those curious now: Zim does remember having participated in Operation Impending Doom I, as far as to be told to stand within the drawn circle and watch the other soldiers getting ready up to the point where he left that circle. He does not remember however, having taken the giant robot to wreck havoc upon his own planet, annihilating a good deed of his very own race and as well as blowing up most the other Invaders.
Though he does remember being banished for leaving the circle oô
He remembers having killed the prior Tallest Miyuki and Spork but he does not remember having caused the Horrible Painful Overload Day 1 + 2 as well as blackening out one half of Devastis.
Apart from these events all the small successes are gone too, whereas every failure stays present in his mind, convincing Zim of the fact that all he's ever been is a miserable failure (Finally seeing the truth oô)
The question how he will react if anyone decides to tell him of the events he's forgotten does yet remain to be answered. It will most likely depend on the condition he's in on wether he will still see them as amazing or wether he will finally see them as further failures of his life. Actually this may have him either freak out completely and go on a rampage or he'll be more depressed than ever and turn into creepy!emo-mode... |

¤ The LOSS | Loss of Self. Zim has lost his entire identity to Memoria when he got to the yet nameless city. He doesn't know who he is, has forgotten everyone he ever knew and most importantly all the things he has ever done in his entire existence. Since he was the one to discover Earth along with humanity he doesn't remember that planet as well as... Yes. Humans. Humans and every piece of information he had acquired during his stay on Earth. So he is probably more easily to confuse if it comes to Earth-terms and stuff. The general information that was stored within his PAK though is still intakt. So he knows what he is, what the PAK is there for and also how to use/maintain it (any human character wouldn't forget how to breathe either, right? ;) )
So basically this means... He still knows the basics of the Irken race, has a decent amount of knowledge gathered by his race and still has his technical skills. And despite everything an enormous ego. The name or rather ID he could aqcuire from his PAK is 026.009.013 (it's rather simple to figure out actually), but currently goes under the name Code because Kid found the ID code too long ;) |

| ¤ Biographie | Also known as the most despised THING within the Irken Empire, Zim was born (or rather hatched) on planet Irk, starting his destructive career the very day he got activated by causing the Horrible Painful Overload Day 1 with lots of explosions involved and the whole planet blackening out for the next 5 years. This was followed by the Horrible Painful Overload Day 2 several years later when Zim decided his education is over. At least Irk only blacked out for 4 years this time.
Up until Operation Impending Doom I Zim managed to demonstrate his unique destructive ability enough to be assigned a very special mission during the operation: Staying within a drawn circle and not leaving it. Of course Zim left the circle, stole a Frontline Battle Mech and went on a rampage on his very own planet, single-handedly wrecking it and blowing up all the other invaders while he was at it. This got him reencoded by the Control Brains as Food Service Drone and exiled to Foodcourtia.
Though Zim quit being exiled once he heard about Operation Impending Doom II.
In an attempt of finally getting rid of Zim, the Tallest send him off to a suggested planet somewhere outside the known universe - Which happened to be Earth. Determined to proove his worth towards his almighty leaders Zim began his attempt of conquering the planet, just to get himself entangled in an endless loop of futileness and failures.
Even though being hated by his leaders as well as his entire race, Zim is disturbingly loyal towards the Tallest. Doubting them was and never will be an option to the shortest Irken to ever become an Invader.
The actuall range of Zim's insanity was made apparent when the Tallest decided to put him on trial for his life to be judged by the Control Brains. During this event Zim got declared a Defective, so his PAK was to be deleted and his whole existence exterminated. It turned out however, that three Control Brains weren't able to handle the vast insanity of Zim's personality stored within the Irken's PAK and went insane themselves, declaring Zim the most incredible Irken ever. Actually Zim was the only one to believe that and still does.
Zim happily returned to his exile mission after this. Judging from this the Tallest may have made the decision it's better to leave him there since they cannot simply destroy him.
Despite his enormous insanity, lack of insight and appreciation as well as his inability to understand human emotions, Zim has an incredible understanding of everything related to technology and science in general. Therefore while being useless in social matters of any kind he can at least do... Stuff. |
